I would like to thank everybody who left a comment after my husband's passing. The heartwarming reactions, expressions of sympathy and compliments for his blog have been a great comfort to me and my family.I wish everybody a very happy new year.

Ik kwam hier niet vaak, maar elk bezoek was inspirerend en verrijkend.
Arnel was duidelijk een man met een uitgesproken persoonlijkheid. We kunnen dan ook enkel dankbaar zijn voor wat hij ervan in zijn blogs met ons wou delen.

I just read the news, and am very sad. Arnel's posts were so musical and so personal I nearly felt as though I knew him. He must have been a wonderful guy.

This was always one of my favorite blogs. Such dedication on his part.
Na bijna een jaar kom ik achter dit verschikkelijke nieuws!
En dat terwijl Arnel en ik dus echt ver terug gaan op muziekbloggebied..
Zelfs Arnel nog geholpen met raad en daad toen hij deze blog ooit op wilde zetten, en moet je zien wat hij voor elkaar heeft gekregen in al die jaren!
Een uitsekende muziekkeuze met de BoBW cd serie, maar ook zijn andere blogs die direct maar ook indirect iets met de muziek te maken hadden.
Arnel ik mis je jongen, ook al is het dik een jaar terug.... maar dat heeft zijn redenen..

May he rest in peace. This was the best for music. It will be missed.

Mi más sincero pésame desde España. Hace tres años que no entraba en este blog y me ha impresionado muchísimo saber que su marido ha fallecido.

I still find this blog to be a source of inspiration and joy! so sad that arnel is no more! maybe someone who downloaded all of his compilations can put together a torrent with all of his work so all this effort was not in vain and his memory will be preserved!
Arnel's site is still in my favorites list. Sometimes I take a quick look and miss him. I never found a site which could match his in enthousiasm and knowledge.

I just wanted you to know that I still think about Arnel and this site. He is greatly missed, even though I never met him, he felt like a friend to me. His music knowledge was a special light in my life. I hope you are doing well.
