Nothing Lasts... But Nothing Is Lost... Sphongle

Shpongle bestaat uit Simon Postford (de man achter Hallucinogen) en Raja Ram (fluitspeler en eigenaar van TIP records UK), allebei mannen die al lang meegaan in de Goatrance/ Psytrance scene en hun sporen al ruim verdiend hebben.
Shpongle valt 'officieel' onder het kopje Psychedelische Trance (dit sub-genre wordt ook wel 'Psybient' genoemd), maar heeft niets new-age-achtigs. Dit is meer ambient techno met Oosterse, spirituele elementen, zoals ook bijv. The Orb en Future Sound of London dat maken. Bijkomstig is de op zeer professionele wijze ingemengde Indiase muziekjungle - zeer kleurrijk en afwisselend, met hier en daar gek genoeg enkele latin-invloeden. Het klinkt erg mysterieus maar tegelijk ook erg vertrouwd en relaxed door de Britse electronica-fundamenten.
