Als je net zo lang in dat restgeval moet wachten op je soep als voor een nummerke downdingensen.......nou doe de kok de groeten, ik ben weg daar.
maar toch bedankt voor de moeite kerel.

Dat is nou net het verschil tussen Nederlanders en Vlamingen. Een Nederlander eet om zijn maag te vullen, soms tot-ie een pens heeft als Herman de Blijker. Het hoeft niet eens lekker te zijn.
Een Vlaming neemt zijn tijd, geniet van het eten, het gezelschap en de muziek. Een Vlaming heeft niet zo'n last van zijn protestantse achtergrond. 'Genieten' mag.
En, o ja, de groeten terug van de kok.
