Seize Françaises, The French compilation
Shirts get unbuttoned, skirts get shorter, girls start shaking their hair and the "phallus impudicus" starts growing again. *sigh*Time to bring on sexiness. And what is the cliche symbol of frivolity and seduction? Right. French girls.
So here are sixteen songs by French speaking/singing girls. One of them is Belgian though (Axelle Red) and a couple of them are no native "Françaises" either. Mylène Farmer and Natasha St-Pier were born in Canada, Sheryfa Luna and Nadiya are Algerian, and Amina Annabi left Tunesia for France.
And the more I get to think about it, the less French it gets: Charlotte Gainsbourg has an English mother and Elodie Frégé has an Italian granddad.
Whatever. Or as the French say "Et alors?"
